I think it's kinda fair. I mean if you happen to make a manga series and you're not getting any money from it because of free scans online. That would be kinda frustating.

yaa, hence why i understand where the publishers are coming from. but they could ALSO market manga scans and get even more money.

That's exactly what i'm saying. That's because using internet would be the easiest way to get all around the world. Otherwise far away contries (like the one i live in) would only have access to a few popular mangas and that's that... This is what i don't find being fair...
